Change a life, change the future
Guatemala Embrace Effort was established to help children of Guatemala. Many of these children face difficult challenges including poverty, disease, and homelessness. Statistically, most of them will remain in poverty for life. We can give these children a chance to accomplish what to them seems impossible. It is our hope and our mission to bring futures beyond poverty within their reach.

Help Us Build a Classroom!
This spring, GEE is raising money to build a classroom for the School Los Aposentos, a small elementary school outside Chimaltenango, Guatemala. Among other difficulties, this school lacks enough classrooms to accommodate all its students, so fifth grade classes meet in a small building away from the main campus. This is not a safe or long term solution.
The administrators of Los Aposentos have been eager to work along side GEE to improve their situation.
To complete this project, we need to raise $4,000 in time for our Spring 2013 trip. We've already received generous contributions, but we have a long way to go in a short time. We appreciate your help!
